Thank you for your patience while we organized this wonderful tradition of celebrating authors, their books, and their readers!

Those who attended the 2023 Literary Luncheon for “First Ladies” with Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray will recognize this analogy from our Introduction: curating the author lineup is very much like working on a “double-sided, mono-chromatic, 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle” for a year, and when the details finally fall into place, and we can enjoy these vibrant afternoons, there is never a second of doubt about it being worth the effort!

Your “reader enthusiasm” is what brings authors to us, and encourages publicity teams to send us their authors. The books will all be for sale at their corresponding events, as well as available at Where the Sidewalk Ends Bookstore upon publication. You can even pre-order online for bookstore pickup or shipping to your home, if you would like to read them in advance!

The venue did have to raise prices slightly this year; the base ticket price is $110 and the first and last events have special pricing that include a book credit at each, with more details on each page.
